Are there any participation requirements for a RingTaxi ride?
Yes—a minimum height of 1.40 m and a maximum height of 2.00 m. In addition, the maximum weight of 120 kg per person must not be exceeded. This must be explicitly confirmed at the time of booking and will be verified before the ride.
Is there a minimum age for a RennTaxi ride?
For tourist drives, the only requirement is a minimum height of 1.40 meters; there is no minimum age. During the track day (August 13, 2026), participants must be at least 16 years old, and for the NLS Friday practice session, they must be at least 18 years old.
What happens if a participant exceeds the maximum weight of 120 kg?
In that case, you cannot participate in the RingTaxi ride. Participants are weighed before the ride. Since the ticket is transferable, in this case the ride may be taken by an accompanying person who weighs less than 120 kg.
Do you have to be sober to ride in a race taxi?
Yes, there is a strict ban on alcohol (0.0 per mille) and drugs throughout the entire event.
Can I bring friends and family?
You're welcome to bring your loved ones along on your RaceTaxi ride.
Do I have to book my ride online in advance?
We definitely recommend booking your preferred date online well in advance. Depending on demand, rides may also be available on-site at short notice, but we cannot guarantee this. You can view all available dates for your desired vehicle online at any time—but booking on-site is also generally possible.
Is my online reservation binding?
Yes, since each ride is available only once, your reservation is binding.
How do I get my ticket after booking online?
You'll receive your ticket, including the meeting location, via email immediately after placing your order. It's a print@home ticket, so you can print it out or add it digitally to your digital wallet, and it will be scanned when you check in on site.
Are there still spots available if everything is fully booked online?
Sometimes, however, rides are still available on short notice. In that case, it's best to give us a quick call and ask.
Where can I book my RaceTaxi ride on-site?
Either at our shop in the Nürburgring InfoCenter (main building) or right at the Nordschleife entrance in our under8 container (on the right side, next to the barriers).
Can I book a RaceTaxi ride for someone else?
Yes. The name on the reservation can be different from the participant's name—that's not a problem.
For a BMW reservation, you don't need to provide all the names, since we'll record them on the waiver form on-site.
When and where do I need to be for the race taxi ride?
We'll meet 20 minutes before your scheduled ride at the "RaceTaxi Meeting Point". The easiest way to find it is on Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Where is the meeting point for an NLS race taxi ride?
If you're taking an NLS taxi, we'll meet at the Nürburgring Information Center. You'll receive an email 7 days before the event with the exact meeting place and time.
How long is my RaceTaxi voucher valid?
Under German law, our gift certificates are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. They may be redeemed during the Nordschleife’s operating hours.
How do I get the coupon?
The print@home ticket will be sent to the email address you provided in PDF format shortly after you complete your order. You can simply print it out and give it as a gift right away.
What can the gift certificate be used for?
The voucher can be redeemed for any race taxi product or event in our online shop.
How can the gifted person redeem the gift certificate?
The gift certificate includes a unique voucher code. The recipient selects their preferred date for the race taxi experience on our website and enters the code in the appropriate field during checkout. The value of the gift certificate is then deducted from the total amount.
Can someone else redeem my voucher?
Yes, the gift certificate is transferable to another person.
Can the gifted person cancel the gift certificate and get a refund?
No, a gift card order cannot be refunded. However, the gift card can be resold or given as a gift, since the code is not tied to a specific person.
Where do I need to go for my RingTaxi ride?
We'll meet 20 minutes before your scheduled ride at the "RaceTaxi Meeting Point". The easiest way to find it is on Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Where can I park?
On the other side of the Nordschleife entrance, there's a large free parking lot that you can find on Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Is it possible to park right at the meeting point?
No, unfortunately not. The parking lot we're in is for employees only. Accordingly, the parking attendants only let employees through.
Are the parking spaces free?
Yes, the parking lot on the other side of the Nordschleife entrance is free.
How many people can ride in the Porsche?
Since the Porsche GT3 RS is a two-seater, only one passenger can ride along.
When and where do we meet for the Porsche GT3 RS ride?
We'll meet 20 minutes before your scheduled ride at the "RaceTaxi Meeting Point". The easiest way to find it is on Google Maps or Apple Maps.
What if it rains on the day of the booking?
Rain does not automatically lead to a cancellation. Our vehicles are equipped to operate without any problems even in the rain. As long as the Nordschleife is open, we’ll drive. If the track is temporarily closed due to weather conditions, we’ll try to reschedule the drive for later that same day. If that’s not possible, we’ll offer you a new date or issue you a voucher valid for 36 months.
A refund is not possible in this case, as it constitutes a force majeure event.
What happens to my ride if the track is closed?
If the track is closed due to force majeure or an accident, we will first try to reschedule your ride for the same day. If this is not possible, we will offer you a new appointment (the next day, if available) or a voucher valid for 36 months. You can then use this voucher to schedule a new appointment on your own.
Will I be given a helmet for the RaceTaxi ride?
Yes, we'll provide you with a balaclava and a helmet on the RaceTaxi ride.
Can I bring my own helmet?
No, that's not necessary. We always use our own helmets, since they have an intercom system that lets you talk to the driver while you're riding.
Is there a video recording of the ride?
Yes, you can add the onboard video for an extra charge of 40€. It shows you the exterior view of the track, the interior view, your position on the track, G-forces, and your speed.
Who is the driver?
The driver of our Porsche is Elöd Szarka; he has been driving the Nürburgring Nordschleife every day for 21 years now and has logged over 25,000 laps in the legendary “Green Hell”—and that number keeps growing every day. No one knows the track like he does—all its tricks and quirks, in all weather conditions. Elöd was born in Hungary and speaks German, English, and Hungarian. Join us and experience for yourself how Elöd, while driving at 200+ km/h, casually tells you the history of the Nordschleife.
How do I get my OnBoard video?
You'll receive your onboard video on a USB drive right after the ride. If you booked the Premium or Deluxe package, your onboard video—including stress level monitoring—will be sent to you via email.
How many HP does the Porsche 992 GT3 RS have?
Our Porsche 992 GT3 RS has 525 HP and 465 NM—keep in mind that this is a naturally aspirated engine that doesn’t reach its full power until 6,500 rpm. Experience the “Symphony of Speed” for yourself.
Can I bring my own camera or GoPro?
No, for safety reasons, you're not allowed to do that. You're welcome to film with your smartphone. Alternatively, you can add the onboard video of your ride to your booking. It's recorded using fixed cameras.
How many rounds are included in the price?
The price includes one lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, which is 20.832 km long. If you’d like to drive more laps in a row, you can book as many consecutive laps as you’d like in the ticket shop. We also offer race taxi laps as part of the NLS series, which cover both the Nordschleife and the GP circuit for a total track length of 26 km. This route also passes through the Döttinger Höhe.
I forgot to include the onboard video when I made the book. What can I do?
No problem—you can add the OnBoard Video package and the other packages at any time while you're here. Just let us know when you check in.
What kind of clothing should be worn?
It's important that you feel comfortable in your clothes. Shorts are generally fine, but please note that we'll secure you with a 6-point harness, so skirts and dresses aren't really suitable.
Are there any other upgrades available for the RaceTaxi ride?
Yes, there’s also the Premium Package and the Deluxe Package.

What is stress level monitoring?
You’ll receive a Garmin smartwatch that measures your heart rate and movements in real time and sends the data to the cloud. BioRICS technology uses this data to calculate your stress level and displays it—along with your heart rate—in the onboard video. After the ride, you’ll receive your video via email with an overview of your stress levels along the route and a score for the rankings. That way, you can compete with friends and find out who’s the coolest in the Green Hell!
Is the price for one person or more?
The price for the BMW always includes a ticket for one lap for up to 3 people. This means that one, two, or three people can ride with a single ticket.
Can I ride along in the BMW by myself?
Yes, of course you can ride along in the BMW M3 Competition by yourself. However, the ticket price is still €365.00.
Can four people get in the car?
No, a maximum of three people are allowed in the vehicle. For safety reasons, the middle seat in the back row is not used.
Who is the driver?
Our M3 Competition driver pool consists of seasoned Nordschleife enthusiasts whose passion is driving fast cars around the Nordschleife. Experience the Nordschleife for yourself alongside big names such as Tobias Müller, Alexander Kroker, and Bodo Schönecker.
Does the maximum weight apply per person or as an average?
The maximum weight of 120 kg always applies per person. No average is calculated, so a heavier person is not offset by a lighter one.
Do people wear helmets in the BMW M3 Competition as well?
No, you don't need a helmet in the BMW M3 Competition.

The G80 M3 Competition is smaller and lighter than the M5, which gives it more agile handling and a sportier driving experience. It is particularly dynamic and precise on winding roads. In addition, the M3 is often designed for sharper handling and more direct steering, making it more appealing to enthusiasts who appreciate a sporty driving style.

What is stress level monitoring?

What is an NLS taxi ride?
An NLS Race Taxi ride takes place during Friday practice for the Nordschleife Endurance Series. Only professional drivers are on the track here, driving race cars that are not street-legal, such as GT3 race cars. In addition, the ride starts from the pit lane of the Grand Prix circuit and covers the Grand Prix circuit as well as the entire Nordschleife, including a run through the Döttinger Höhe.
When do NLS taxi rides take place?
NLS taxi rides take place no more than 9 times a year. This depends on the NLS event calendar. You can find the available dates on our website under “Book an NLS Ticket”.
Where is the meeting point?
You'll find the exact meeting point in your confirmation email after purchasing your ticket. It's our GetSpeed RaceTaxi Shop in the Nürburgring Infocenter.
When do I need to be there?
Since the time varies depending on the event, you'll find the exact time in your confirmation email after purchasing your ticket. It's usually around 1:00 or 2:00 p.m.
Is admission included?
Yes, there are no mandatory additional costs to visit the paddock and attend the event.
How does an NLS taxi ride work?
Since the Nürburgring requires all passengers to have their documents verified, we’ll need to meet at our shop at noon to check in. Once you’ve filled out the forms and submitted your ID, we can help you try on a helmet and racing suit. Afterward, you’ll have time to browse the various shops and exhibits on RingBoulevard or even visit the paddock to get a behind-the-scenes look at the racing teams. Then we’ll begin shuttling participants to the paddock, where a short stop is also planned. Following that, we’ll start the RaceTaxi rides.
What happens when it rains?
Rain does not automatically mean the tour will be canceled. Our vehicles are equipped to operate without any problems even in the rain. If the track is closed due to weather conditions, we’ll try to reschedule your ride for the same day.
If that’s not possible, we’ll offer you a new date or issue you a voucher valid for 36 months.

What happens if a race is interrupted or the track is closed?
If the route is closed due to force majeure or an accident, we will try to complete the trip on the same day. If that is not possible, you will receive a voucher, or we will schedule a new date.

Can I reschedule or cancel my NLS ride?
If you added the Flex Ticket when making your reservation, you can cancel your reservation yourself up to 72 hours before the scheduled event using the link in your order confirmation and receive a full refund of the reservation price. The €50.00 fee for the Flex Ticket is non-refundable.
If you booked the wrong date, please contact under8 GmbH immediately by email. For a rebooking fee of €50.00, you can book a new date—subject to availability.
Can accompanying persons come along?
Yes, you can bring up to three guests with you at no additional cost. They are also allowed to enter the paddock and the event. For participants in our RaceTaxi ride, we offer a shuttle from the meeting point at our shop to the starting point of the ride in the paddock. Unfortunately, in most cases, we cannot provide this service for guests. The walk takes about 10–15 minutes.
Are there parking spaces?
You can find parking in the adjacent parking garage (for a fee) or across the street in a large parking lot (free of charge).
Will I also receive the onboard video directly?
If you have booked an onboard video, you will receive it by email that same evening.
What can I do between the time I register and my trip?
Since the Nürburgring requires all passengers to have their documents verified, we’ll need to meet at our shop at noon to check in. Once you’ve filled out the forms and submitted your ID, we can help you try on a helmet and racing suit. Since we’ll be providing you with a racing suit for your drive during the NLS training, it’s a good idea to wear lightweight clothing that fits under the racing suit. Sturdy shoes are also highly recommended.
Is it possible to film while driving?
To that end, we offer our onboard video so you can fully enjoy the experience without your cell phone. The video shows both interior and exterior views, as well as the G-forces, speed, and position on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Until when can I cancel my booked ride?
Cancellations are generally possible at any time. Depending on when we receive the cancellation, the following cancellation fees apply: After booking: 50% of the booking price. Starting 20 days before the booked date: 75% of the booking price. Starting 48 hours before the date or in case of a no-show: 100% of the booking price.
The date and time when the written cancellation is received by under8 GmbH is decisive.
What if I booked the wrong appointment?
If you book the wrong appointment, please contact under8 GmbH immediately by email. For a rescheduling fee of €50.00, you can book a new appointment—subject to availability.
What happens if I don't show up for my booked RaceTaxi ride?
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without prior written cancellation, this will be considered a no-show. In this case, 100% of the booking price will be charged in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. No refund will be issued.
What happens if I'm late for my RaceTaxi ride?
In this case, please contact our team as soon as possible. Whether you can still participate depends on how the rest of the event day unfolds and the schedule. If you are unable to participate due to your delay, this will be considered a no-show. In this case, 100% of the booking price will be charged in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. No refund will be issued.
