How to prepare for your first RaceTaxi ride: tips from a professional

A ride in a RaceTaxi at the Nürburgring — a dream for many!
But what can you actually expect? And how can you best prepare yourself for this unforgettable experience?

Here are the most important tips for preparing for your first RaceTaxi ride.

What can you expect on your first RaceTaxi ride?

Imagine getting into a Porsche GT3 RS or BMW M3 Competition, buckled up next to an experienced professional — and experiencing the legendary Nordschleife from a cockpit perspective.
Full acceleration, brutal braking, centrifugal forces like you've never felt before.
A ride in a RaceTaxi is pure adrenaline — and absolutely unique.

Good preparation helps you to get the most out of this experience.

What should you wear?

1. Comfortable, sporty clothes
Choose clothes that aren't tight and give you enough freedom of movement. However, since we use a 6-point belt, skirts and dresses are rather unsuitable.

2. Sturdy shoes
Sneakers or lightweight sports shoes are optimal. No sandals, high heels, or chunky boots!

3. No loose accessories
You should omit scarves, long necklaces or large earrings — they could disturb you while driving or get tangled up in the belt.

Tips for mental preparation

1. Be relaxed — and be happy!
Many first-time drivers are a bit nervous before the first ride. That is completely normal! Trust your driver: he is a professional and knows the track like the back of his hand.

2. Be open to new impressions
The centrifugal forces, the extreme acceleration — it all feels unusual. Get involved and enjoy the adrenaline rush.

3. Don't be afraid of speed
You're safe in a RaceTaxi. The cars are technically perfectly prepared and the drivers are specially trained to have everything under control.

Tips for your physical preparation

1. Eat light, don't stay hungry
A light breakfast or lunch (e.g. banana, cereal, light pasta) gives you enough energy without making you nauseous while driving.
It is better to refrain from eating heavy, greasy food before driving.

2. Arrive well rested
When you are rested, you not only ride more relaxed, you can also experience the journey much more intensively.

3. Capture the moment!

In order not to experience this experience through the camera of your mobile phone - our tip: Be sure to add the onboard video! So you can relive the experience over and over again and enjoy the moment in the passenger seat — and of course show your friends what you've experienced on the Nordschleife!

And now? Buckle up, take a deep breath — and enjoy the ride through the “Green Hell”!
